June 2022 - Los Fieles & Los Refuerzos

What an incredible blessing these Los Fieles have been to our mission.  All 4 of these missionaries only had 6 months left in their missions.  They have brought leadership, faith, strong work ethic and strong testimonies to our mission.  We will be forever grateful for their sacrifice and miss them terribly!  

It is so hard to say goodbye to your Los Fieles but the very next morning we are blessed to welcome our Los Refuerzos!  It is such a privilege to serve along side these incredible Missionaries!

Year One

 

In the D&C 84:88 the lord says : I will go before your face.  I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up.

We have seen this scripture come to life this year as we have served in the Argentina Neuquén Mission.

We have watched our missionaries faces light up as they have told us about their friends and the experiences they have had teaching them about the gospel.

We have loved hearing the conversion stories of their new friends, Attending their baptisms and watching their faith and testimony grow each time they helped bring another soul to Christ.

What an incredible privilege it has been to serve with such valiant servants.

The lord  is with us.  He loves us.  He will comfort us.  He continues to lead us where we need to go and what we need to do.

This is not Missionary work…….. This is missionary fun! 

Elder Christofferson & Elder Kearon Mission Visit

We were so blessed to have Elder & Sister Christofferson, Elder Kearon, Elder & Sister Christensen and Elder & Sister Gomez come and visit our mission.  We brought all our missionaries into Neuquén for 2 days!  It was so much fun to be together.  We had a special Sisters meeting with all the Sister Missionaries.  The Hermana Leaders had each of the missionaries moms write a special letter for their daughters.  It was very sweet meeting to have all our Hermanas together!  They all had dinner together and a devotional which we missed because we were invited to dinner with Elder and Sister Christofferson and the other General Authorities who were visiting.  It was really fun to spend time with these great leaders.   It is amazing to me the sacrifice they give.  

Saturday morning they met with our whole mission for 2 hours.  They took time to shake each missionaries hand and we felt of their faith and love as they talked to us in that special meeting. This will be a highlight of our mission for sure! 

We then were invited to lunch with the General Authorities, all the Stake presidents from our mission and their wives, the two temple presidents and their wives (Concepcion & Buenas Aires) and the stake presidents from the Comodoro Mission and President & Hermana Comejo.  Then another meeting with all the leaders from both areas Comodoro and Neuquén.  It was incredible to see the stake center full to the brim with wonderful leaders.   What a great spirit they brought!

On Sunday we were blessed to take Elder Kearon to General Roca to speak to that stake.  It was such a treat to talk with him for 1hr ride to and from General Roca.   He is really funny! But his message was powerful.  Heavenly Father has a plan for you and he will help you through your dark times.  It was a beautiful message that touched many.   So grateful for our opportunity to meet with these wonderful leaders and feel of their love and testimony all weekend.
