When we were called to be Mission leaders I never realized how much you come to love the missionaries you serve with. We feel like they are our children. We are so proud of them and the sacrifice they give to the Lord to serve for 18-24 months. It is so exciting to welcome our Los Refuerzos who are just beginning their journey with us. And such a blessing to watch them grow into such amazing missionaries with such strong testimonies of the gospel. It is much harder than I ever realized to say goodbye to our Los Fieles after they have finished their full-time service. So bittersweet. We know they have great things ahead but miss them so much! What a privilege to have the chance to serve with such amazing young people!
